July Neighborhood Walk

Please join your neighbors from Arnold Creek and West Portland Park

on Tuesday July 13th at 7 in the evening

for a Walk exploring the Headwaters of Arnold Creek.

Our trusty tour guides will lead you on a loop walk looking at

trails and cut throughs, land use and zoning,

gardens and goats, restaurants, shops

and the natural area protecting the headwaters of Arnold Creek.

We will start and finish at the picnic table on Coronado just east of 39th.

If you are driving, please park on Vacuna between 39th and 41st.

Dogs are welcome if their owners are well behaved and on a leash at all times.

Masks are optional. Being outside is very low risk.

The trail through the natural area has a good tread but it is very steep in parts.  An alternative route is to return to the picnic table using the neighborhood streets, or to take a car ride back.

The walk will take around one and a half hours, but you can bail any time.  But if you make it back to the picnic table, there will be cool drinks and snacks.
